POLICIES

Reservations:
You can click on Inquire right now to start the process of making a reservation. After filling out the form, simply submit it. We will then email you back if those dates and accommodations are open and will work. Next, we will need to have you mail a deposit within 5 (five) days of our mail notification.

Deposit policy:
A $100.00 deposit is required for each unit you reserve for a one week stay or longer. A deposit of one nights room rate is required for less that a week. This deposit is a guarantee of the complete reservation for both the guest and Runaway II Resort. The deposit will be deducted from your bill when you pay upon arrival.

Refund Policy:
No refunds for cancellations or early departures. As soon as we receive your deposit, we take the unit off the market.

Check-In / Check-Out:
Check-in time is after 3:00PM and before 10:00PM. Check-out time is 11:00AM or before. We need this time to make sure each unit is up to our standards before the next guests occupy your unit. Your cooperation in following our check-in and check-out times is appreciated. For late arrivals, there will be a note on the door with directions to your unit.

Pets:
We still allow pets at a rate of $10 per day. No more than one pet is allowed in the cabins. We have a strict “leash only” policy on the premises. No pets are allowed to roam the properties—please be responsible.

Provisions:
You should bring your food, coffee, clothes, favorite beverage, beach towels, paper towels, flotation (if you plan to swim in the lake), shower soap, shampoo and charcoal for the grill (if you plan to BBQ). A set of bath, hand and face towels will be supplied in the cabin and motel bathrooms. If you think you will need more, please bring them with you. During extended stays, please bring to the office and we will supply new towels. We do not provide housekeeping service or room service of any kind during your stay.

NO Fireworks or Fire Arms:
Due to insurance risk, fireworks or Fire Arms of ANY KIND including sparklers are prohibited from being discharged on the property at any time. Local seasonal fireworks displays are provided for your enjoyment at no charge. Due to the laws of the State of Missouri concerning CONCEAL & CARRY, we are notifying you in writing, and made part of this agreement. NO CONCEALED FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN OR ON ANY RENTED PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. Violators will be evicted from the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS, DON’T’ ASK.

Observed Tranquility:
Observed Tranquility will be from 10PM to 8AM Sunday thru Thursday and 11PM to 8AM Friday and Saturday. Outdoor noise and excessive music, etc. should be discontinued during the observed time. The “Runaway 45MM” restaurant and bar sometimes offers entertainment on Friday and/or Saturday nights which may extend into the observed hours. Notice of entertainment will be posted prior to the event.

If you are under the age of 30, there will be no “All Guys Vacation” permitted. You will be evicted from the property immediately with no refund if there is an incident. Please respect your neighbors during your stay.

Misrepresentation:
Management reserves the right to turn away any renter that has been found to misrepresent information without refund.

Liability:
We expect that all persons in your party will use good judgment. We will not be responsible under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for accidents caused by you or any of your guests at any time. By signing this agreement, you the signer agree to hold harmless RUNAWAY II RESORT & MARINA from ANY liability resulting from any injury or accident of any guest incurred during your stay.

Furthermore, YOU THE credit card holder will be solely responsible in the event of damage, destruction or missing items in or on the property either by you or ANY OF YOUR GUESTS. Additional cleaning fees may be charged at a rate of $45 per hour in the event the property is left extremely untidy.

In the unlikely event of a lawsuit to recover for damaged or stolen property or any other unforeseeable loss, YOU THE credit card holder agree to pay all Attorney’s fees, collection costs, and all court costs involved. YOU THE credit card signer agree that any lawsuit initiated by you or us concerning the enforcement of this contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and be litigated in Camden County, Missouri. The RESORT MANAGER reserves the right to enter the premises at any time. The RESORT MANAGER reserves the right to evict any tenant at any time for noncompliance of this Agreement. There will be no refunds in the event of early departure or eviction.

We reserve the right to charge your credit card for the entire amount of loss including, but not limited to, the actual replacement or repair, labor and tax, additional cleaning costs, cancelled reservation administrative fees plus the entire amount of rental fees not paid by you, if you do not follow through with your reservation and no cancellation is provided according to the above terms, or any other applicable service fees. You also agree to be otherwise financially responsible in the event your credit card is rejected by the credit card company or by you. No credits, refunds or any other type of compensation will be given to the renter in the event of power failure, interruption of TV service, appliance malfunction, undesirable weather, early departure or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
